A News Brief on the Captured Citizen in Artsakh
According to Azerbaijani sources, Rashid Beglaryan, a citizen of the Republic of Artsakh born in 1962, has been detained by the Azerbaijani border service near the village of Aghavno today. He was displaced from the city of Shushi as a result of the 2020 war and had recently been in the village of Hin Shen in the vicinity of Shushi.
Preliminary reports suggest that he fell under Azerbaijani control due to getting lost. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified by the relevant authorities. The Artsakh authorities have informed the Russian peacekeeping forces about the incident.
