Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended the UEFA Champions League final match between Manchester City and Inter alongside UAE President Al Nahyan.

It should be noted that the final of the Champions League 2022/23 season took place yesterday at the Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, featuring a clash between Manchester City and Inter.

Inter was unable to recover what was lost, as the Italian club lost after reaching the final for the first time since 2010. The final score was Manchester City 1, Inter 0.

Manchester City became the Champions League winner for the first time in its history. The team, led by Pep Guardiola, secured its third trophy of the season.

Former captain of the Armenian national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan came on as a substitute in the 83rd minute. Mkhitaryan achieved a unique milestone for Armenian football, becoming the first Armenian player to appear in a Champions League final.
