Photo Report: Czech Republic Para Athletics International Championship Concludes with Armenian Victory

The Czech Republic Para Athletics International Championship has concluded, featuring 163 athletes from 15 countries. Armenia was represented by Sargis Stepanyan, who competed in the F55 classification in shot put and discus throw events. This was reported by the Armenian Federation of Adaptive Sports.

‘Sargis won in both events against all competitors. He achieved a result of 9.65 meters in shot put and 23.89 meters in discus throw, securing first place in both categories. With this performance, Sargis Stepanyan met his target and not only approached the ‘minimum entry standard’ qualifying score (Minimum entry standard F55 9.50 for the Paris 2023 World Para Athletics Championships and the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games) but also exceeded it,’ the statement mentioned.
