Fines for Tinted Windows Will Also Apply to Service Vehicles, Says Deputy Interior Minister
The law has no exceptions and also affects service vehicles. During a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly, Deputy Interior Minister Arpine Saroyan stated: "There is confusion that the law imposing fines for tinted windows was recently adopted. The law existed but was not enforced because we did not have the equipment that would allow us to check the degree of light transmission of side windows," said the Deputy Minister.
She added that they now possess such equipment and are implementing the law. According to her, regulations will be ensured with all necessary equipment starting from June 1.
According to the provisions of domestic legislation and the technical regulations of the Customs Union, the light transmission of front side windows must be at least 70%.
