We Positively Assess Armenia's Recent Statements: Cavusoglu
Turkey is prepared to take positive steps in relations with Armenia following the signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stated Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.
“We positively assess Armenia's recent statements, where they declare recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity; there are mutual positive statements. We support this. Azerbaijan has proposed a comprehensive peace agreement, and if Armenia says 'yes', discussions will begin very soon, and it will be signed. As Turkey, we will take some positive steps in this situation,” Cavusoglu said in his speech today.
His statement was broadcast on his Twitter microblog.
