Evgeny Petrosyan Responds to Hospitalization Reports

Humorist and TV presenter Evgeny Petrosyan has commented on reports from Telegram channels regarding his hospitalization. According to him, he is undergoing a routine examination and is feeling well.

"Everything is fine. Today, I went for a check-up for just one day. Everything is good, there is no panic," Petrosyan's words are quoted by TASS.

The 77-year-old Evgeny Petrosyan was previously reported to be hospitalized by the Mash Telegram channel. The publication claimed that on May 1st, at noon, the popular artist felt dizzy in his apartment in Khamovniki, after which his wife called an ambulance for him.

The "112" Telegram channel attributed the reason for Petrosyan's hospitalization to hypertensive heart disease. Baza reported that the comedian is currently at Botkin Hospital.

In 2013, Petrosyan underwent two heart surgeries aimed at replacing a heart valve and normalizing the functioning of coronary arteries.
