Roads Closed and Difficult to Navigate in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are roads closed and difficult to navigate across Armenia.

The roads are closed from the "Amberd" high-mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region towards the Amberd fortress and Lake Kari.

The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to traverse for trucks with trailers. There are also patches of black ice in the Saravan-Zanger section, and fog is present in the cities of Goris and Ashtarak.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
