Snow Falls in Parts of Armenia

The Road Department Foundation informs that as of March 20 at 09:00, snow is falling in the regions of Aparan, Aragats, Artik, Akhuryan, Ashotzk, and Sevan. Meanwhile, rain is observed in the regions of Armavir, Ani, Ashtarak, Nairi, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Spitak, Vanadzor, Tashir, Tumanyan, Ijevan, Noyemberyan, Tavush, and Martuni.

All intergovernmental and republican roads are open. Road builders are working on cleaning and treating the roads with salt and sand.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
