«I regret if my response seems sharp to anyone» - Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasian wrote:
“In Dvin and Bjni, I saw more than clearly how one should not restore a monument. While speaking about Armenia being an open-air museum under the sky since 1995, we have not submitted any applications to UNESCO regarding tangible cultural heritage, and in this sense, we rank second to last among countries, apparently just ahead of Senegal. Furthermore, we claim to have restored our unique monuments, but with an approach that borders on vandalism. I regret if my response seems sharp to anyone. Those who find it sharp are invited to visit Dvin and Bjni to see the so-called restored sections.”
