Putin Ready to Negotiate, But No One Is Calling Him: Kremlin
Putin is ready to negotiate, but no one is calling him. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Peskov.
“Putin has been open and remains available for any communications that can help Russia achieve its goals in one way or another, preferably through peaceful means, at the negotiating table. However, when that is not possible, also by military means, as we are currently witnessing. We have heard multiple statements from Scholz and Macron, who said they would continue to communicate with Putin to seek some paths and solutions regarding the situation. However, there have been no initiatives recently. We have heard Macron's five or six statements about his willingness to call and talk to Putin, but everyone should know: there have been no inquiries, guidelines, or explorations about the possible timing of such conversations,” said Peskov.
