Protesters in Germany Demand Closure of US Air Base

A protest has taken place near the Ramstein American air base in the Rhineland-Palatinate state of Germany, according to the German SWR television channel. Police estimate that approximately 2,500 people attended the event.

Participants marched from a train station to the air base, calling for the closure of the facility and for immediate negotiations to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Additionally, protesters accused NATO and the United States of instigating military operations.
