Pentagon Chief Reveals Military Aid Supplied to Ukraine Over the Year
Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin has announced that over the past year, the United States has provided more than $32 billion in military aid to Ukraine, according to a statement published on the American Department of Defense's website.
“Under President Joe Biden’s leadership, the United States has provided over $32 billion in defensive aid to Ukraine over the past year,” the statement said.
Previously, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz had stated that Germany's support for Ukraine exceeds €14 billion, noting that Germany is providing military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.
At the same time, the country intends to do everything possible to avoid escalation of the conflict between Russia and NATO.
Scholz has previously stated that the time for negotiations regarding the Ukrainian conflict has not yet come.
