American Journalist Urges Biden to Pressure Zelensky
Ted Galen Carpenter, a journalist from 19FortyFive, has urged U.S. President Joe Biden to apply pressure on Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky instead of providing military aid to Kyiv. According to the journalist, such an arrangement would require Ukrainian authorities to abandon their intentions of joining NATO and recognize Crimea as part of the Russian Federation.
Carpenter stated that the U.S. and the United Kingdom are urging Ukraine to continue its fight by promising weapons. Earlier, it was reported that Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, compared Zelensky to Saakashvili and predicted that his future would be imprisonment.
