Ice Patches on Some Roads in Armenia

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to the Amberd Fortress and to the Kary Lake are closed.

There are ice patches in some places on the Aragatsotn and the Maralik-Lanjik roads in the Shirak region.

It is currently snowing in the city of Jermuk and in the Saravan-"Zanger" section.

As for the Lars situation, according to information from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanstmin-da-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
