PACE to Discuss Humanitarian Consequences of Blockade of Lachin Corridor
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will address the humanitarian consequences of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan. This information was shared by Vladimir Vardanyan, a member of the PACE delegation and Chairman of the National Assembly's Permanent Committee on State and Legal Affairs.
“PACE has just decided to include the humanitarian consequences of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor in the agenda of this session,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
It is noteworthy that the Armenian delegation to PACE traveled to Strasbourg on January 22 to participate in the first part of the PACE session. The delegation includes its leader, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan, PACE delegation members, Chairman of the National Assembly's Permanent Committee on State and Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, National Assembly deputies Sona Ghazaryan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Armen Rustamyan, Armen Gevorgyan, and Hayk Mamikonyan, as well as the Chief Specialist of the International Organizations Division of the National Assembly’s Department of External Relations, Arpine Fedoseeva.
