Putin's Health Is a National Security Issue, Says Peskov
Russia's presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has stated that Vladimir Putin's health is a matter of national security, and thus the interaction of the state leader with the press will not be the same as it was before the pandemic. This was reported by gazeta.ru.
"You see the processes of virus mutations, you see the strong waves of influenza. This, taking into account the lessons of the pandemic, obliges those responsible for the president's safety and health to take precautionary measures. Because his health is a matter of national significance," Peskov said while commenting on the distance between Putin and journalists during press conferences.
