Kosovo Reopens Border Crossing with Serbia
Kosovo has reopened its largest border crossing with Serbia. According to a report by Reuters, both the EU and the US are pressuring Kosovo and Serbia to deescalate the increasing tensions, which have led Serbia to place its army on high combat readiness.
In northern Kosovo, Serbs who had set up roadblocks since December 10 in protest against the arrest of a former Serbian police officer have agreed to remove these barriers following his transfer to house arrest.
