Azerbaijani Environmentalists to Continue Talks with Russian Peacekeepers in Ivanian (Khojalu)
Azerbaijani environmentalists will continue negotiations with Russian peacekeepers today in Ivanian (Khojalu). This was reported by Azerbaijani media.
Following the meeting held on December 3, staff members from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Economics' State Property Service, and the closed joint-stock company 'AzerGold' will continue discussions with the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces.
It is noted that discussions will take place at the peacekeepers' headquarters in the Ivanian region with Major General Andrey Volkov, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent. It is recalled that on December 3, Azerbaijanis blocked the only highway connecting Artsakh to Armenia under the pretext of environmental reasons.
