Four Presidents of Armenia Have Official Instagram Pages: Who Is the Most Active?
PR specialist Hasmik Harutyunyan wrote on her Facebook page: "A few years ago, if someone had said that any current or former president of Armenia would have an official page on Instagram, the news would have been considered in the realm of fantasy. However, with time, the perspective of political figures has changed, and PR teams are given broader opportunities and diverse platforms for their work.
Today, the four former presidents of Armenia have official pages on Instagram. The most extensive audience belongs to Armen Sarkissian with 90,600 followers. Robert Kocharyan has 42,300 followers, Serzh Sargsyan 32,700, and Levon Ter-Petrosyan only 400.
Among the former presidents, the most active is Robert Kocharyan, with 738 posts, while the most passive is Serzh Sargsyan with only 62 posts. Levon Ter-Petrosyan's page mainly features archival photos and memories. The other three former presidents' pages include not only archival photos and memories but also everyday, family, and work photos.
The current President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachatryan, does not have an Instagram page, while Armen Sarkissian has not changed the name of his page after his resignation and continues to present himself as President Armen Sarkissian."
