“In a record time of three days of discussions, the permanent representatives of EU member states have agreed on sanctions against companies supplying Iranian drones. The written procedure has been completed, and the sanctions will enter into force today after publication in the official journal,” the Czech presidency stated in a Twitter message.
The EU Council also clarified that the sanctions will apply to three individuals and one organization. Additionally, restrictions will be expanded for four companies that were previously under European sanctions.
