UN General Assembly Adopts Anti-Russian Resolution
The UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution that does not recognize the referendums held in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions, TASS reports.
Previously, the Chinese authorities announced that they would abstain from voting, as they believe the resolution does not contribute to de-escalation.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the countries that voted in favor of the resolution. He stated, "Thank you to all 143 states that supported the historic resolution of the UN General Assembly 'Protection of Ukraine's Territorial Integrity: Upholding the Principles of the UN Charter.' The world has spoken. Russia's attempts at annexation are worthless and will never be recognized by free nations," Zelensky emphasized. He added that Ukraine will reclaim all its territories.
