Russia's Foreign Ministry Comments on Zelensky's Refusal to Negotiate with Russia
Zelensky's stance on refusing to negotiate with Russia is erroneous and should be condemned. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“I believe this is a completely erroneous and condemnable position, as we have talked about readiness, negotiations have taken place, the last phase occurred in Istanbul, and they were interrupted due to the fault of the Ukrainian side,” Vershinin said.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the impossibility of conducting negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as well as on the implementation of the decisions made by Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council.
