India Sells Ammunition, Missiles, and Military Equipment to Armenia: EconomicTimes

India has signed a significant export order for ammunition, missiles, and military equipment to Armenia, as the Asian country finds itself engaged in a prolonged border conflict with neighboring Azerbaijan. This was reported by the EconomicTimes, citing DefenceIndia (India's Ministry of Defence).

The media outlet notes that the governments of both countries have previously signed several intergovernmental agreements this month to ensure a seamless supply of arms and ammunition. Armenia will receive modern Pinaka missiles and anti-tank weapons from India.

The value of the military contract is estimated to be around $270 million. Pinaka missiles have a range of 40 kilometers and possess precision strike capability. The high effectiveness of this missile system has been proven in the war against Pakistan in the Kashmir mountainous regions.
