Kopirkhin on Claims That 'Russia is Turning Its Back on Armenia'
Russia is a neighbor in the South Caucasus region, and therefore statements that Russia is turning its back on the region, or turning its back on Armenia, are nothing but manipulations, I officially declare this. This was stated by the Ambassador of Russia to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkhin, during a conversation with reporters.
He emphasized that it is very important for Russia that this region remains peaceful. "For Russia, this is very, very important, vital," the ambassador said.
Referring to an article published on a website belonging to the Prime Minister's family, signed by "Reliable Source," which mentioned that Russia wants to include Armenia in the Union State, Kopirkhin stated that the spokesperson for the President of Russia has already addressed this, and he has nothing to add. It is worth reminding that Dmitry Peskov called the publication nonsense.
