U.S. Embassy in Armenia Urges Citizens to Avoid Certain Areas
The U.S. Embassy in Armenia has advised American citizens to avoid visiting certain areas of the country. This recommendation comes in light of military operations along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border on September 13-14, prompting concerns for safety.
Specifically, the U.S. government has urged citizens to refrain from traveling to Yeraskh, Vayots Dzor, Yeghengadzor, the Syunik region, and Artsakh. It has also advised against visiting Lake Sevan in Gegharkunik Province, as well as traveling along the M10 highway, and the northern route of the M10 highway through Tavush Province.
