Vardanyan on Demarcation Process: 'Certain Agreements Have Been Reached'
The process has started at least at the level of acts. Relevant acts have been adopted, and commissions have been established to commence work. Certain agreements have been reached, and there seems to be moderate optimism in this process, as representatives of our neighboring country appear inclined not to derail the process and to advance it in accordance with established procedures and agreements.
This was stated by Vladimir Vardanyan, a member of the 'Civil Contract' parliamentary faction, during a press briefing.
According to Vardanyan, demarcation is a lengthy and technically complicated process, and in this context, both political will and the professionalism of involved parties, as well as the support of all international partners, will serve as positive signals for successfully completing this process.
