Pashinyan Decides to Again Defuse Situation in the Country with ‘Zoning’
According to the newspaper ‘Hraparak’, yesterday, members of the ruling Civil Contract party insisted in private conversations that Charles Michel's statement regarding Nagorno-Karabakh, concerning the rights and security of the ethnic Armenian population of Artsakh, was mistranslated. As a result, it created the impression that Armenia is renouncing the status of Artsakh.
When we asked why the government is not in a hurry to refute or amend Michel's statement, the Civil Contract members were unable to respond. They only mentioned that, apparently, during the question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, Pashinyan would announce this.
By the way, yesterday, Civil Contract MP Arman Yeghoyan lightly ‘previewed’ during a briefing that “the question of Artsakh’s status is left unresolved for the future.”
Most likely, Pashinyan has decided to again defuse the situation in the country with ‘zoning’ actions.
