Tragic Incident in Yerevan: Mother Calls Police Reporting Daughter Jumped from Balcony

On May 24, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 2:50 AM, the Arabkir police department received a call reporting a body in the yard of a building on V. Papazyan Street.

According to shamshyan.com, the operational group of the Arabkir police department, led by Chief Yervand Nikoyan, arrived promptly at the scene. A group from the Investigative Committee of Armenia's Yerevan division followed, headed by Senior Investigator Sahakyan.

Police and investigators determined that the deceased was 51-year-old Kristine P., a resident of the street. According to her mother’s statement, she took her own life by jumping from their home’s balcony. An external examination revealed no signs of violence on the body.
