Canada to Provide New Loan to Ukraine
Canada will provide a new loan to Ukraine amounting to 250 million Canadian dollars (195 million USD). This was announced by Canada’s Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, according to RIA Novosti.
The Ministry of Finance also stated that the loan would be transferred through accounts managed by the IMF. Consequently, according to her, the total volume of financial assistance provided by Canada to Ukraine will reach 1.7 billion.
Freeland noted that this amount does not include military and humanitarian aid, as well as assistance provided to refugees and migrants.
