Negotiations Between Ukraine and Russia Have Halted
Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine have been halted, announced Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko, noting that "Ukraine has practically withdrawn from the negotiation process." This information has been confirmed by Mykhailo Podolyak, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, as reported by Theins.ru.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin stated that the Ukrainian side showed no interest in "serious and constructive dialogue," and therefore, the negotiations are no longer underway.
On May 12, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that the Russian side is not ready to conduct substantive negotiations. According to him, Ukraine is ready for negotiations but will not tolerate ultimatums.
