Shooting in Stepanakert: What Does General-Major 'Oganovsky' Have to Do With It?
As previously reported, on May 10, 2022, around 7:00 PM, gunshots were heard in the 'Revival' square of Stepanakert, resulting in damage to a vehicle belonging to a resident of Stepanakert. Following the investigative and procedural actions taken, a criminal case was initiated by an investigator of the Artsakh Investigative Committee under Article 269, Part 4 (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons) and Article 245, Part 1 (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, or carrying of firearms) of the Artsakh Criminal Code. A citizen of the Republic of Artsakh, S.K., was arrested on suspicion of committing the alleged crime. An investigation is ongoing, and additional information will be provided regarding its course and results.
Bagramyan26 sources report that the detained citizen is Samvel Karapetyan, the former Deputy Minister of Defense of Artsakh and General-Major ('Oganovsky').
