Borrell on the Use of Frozen Russian Assets
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has stated that EU countries should consider the use of frozen Russian currency reserves to finance the reconstruction of Ukraine. This was mentioned in the politician's interview with the Financial Times.
The head of European diplomacy pointed out that the United States plans to utilize billions of dollars in assets belonging to Afghanistan's central bank under its control to compensate victims of terrorism and provide humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
