Why Opposition MPs Left the National Assembly Chamber: Gegham Manukyan Responds
“We did not want to hear yet another series of lies, and I told him that during any public debate he would be undermined,” stated Gegham Manukyan, an MP from the Armenia faction, after leaving the National Assembly chamber.
“Nikol Pashinyan referred to the negotiation process, to which Armen Rustamyan responded. I told him that enough is enough of his lies; he will get drowned in his own fabrications. And he replied, ‘Let’s discuss,’ but there is nothing left to discuss with him. This is not the Parliament of England, where people express dissatisfaction with the Prime Minister; here, the loss and devastation have been so glaring and tragic that there is only one solution,” Manukyan added.
