Germany Aims to Fully Abandon Russian Energy Imports, Foreign Minister Sets Deadlines
Germany aims to completely abandon the import of Russian energy resources in the future, stated Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock. This is reported by Vzglyad.
She noted that Germany plans to halt the use of coal by the end of summer and reduce oil consumption by half by the beginning of summer.
Baerbock added that by the end of the year, it will reach a "zero level." She emphasized, "Then comes gas, according to the overall European timetable."
