The West Has Betrayed Zelensky: Lavrov

The West has exploited Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for its own purposes, encouraging his desire to ignore any proposals regarding the Minsk negotiation process, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with India Today.

According to him, if Zelensky had collaborated and aimed to fulfill the Minsk agreements, then "the crisis would have been resolved a long time ago."

"The West has betrayed Zelensky. I believe they simply used him against Russia. They have done everything to strengthen his desire to ignore any proposals," Lavrov stated.

Additionally, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that he cannot seriously comment on Zelensky's statements, as "he constantly changes his views diametrically in opposite directions."
