Zelensky Hands EU Membership Questionnaire to Head of EU Delegation in Ukraine
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has handed the completed EU membership application form to the head of the EU delegation in Ukraine.
“I want to thank you for this important meeting. Today marks one of the stages for our country on the path to European Union membership, a goal that our people are striving for and fighting for,” he stated.
On April 17, the Deputy Head of the President's Office, Igor Zhovkva, announced during a broadcast on the 1+1 television channel that they had already filled out the questionnaire in Kyiv and are awaiting a positive recommendation from the European Union.
Earlier, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian stated that discussions regarding Ukraine's EU membership could only take place after the conflict is resolved.
