Pashinyan and Charles Michel Hold Phone Conversation
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Charles Michel, the President of the European Council. This was reported by the government of Armenia.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the progress of the agreements reached during the meeting between the European Council President, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and the President of Azerbaijan, which took place on April 6 in Brussels. They discussed several issues regarding the current situation in the region and the agenda of Armenia-EU relations.
Pashinyan and Michel also talked about the ongoing implementation of the agreement to allocate $2.6 billion to Armenia within the framework of the EU's Eastern Partnership economic and investment plan, highlighting the importance of effectively implementing the projects outlined in the investment package. Charles Michel reaffirmed the EU's commitment to fully implement the investment program intended for Armenia and emphasized the importance of starting the practical implementation phase of the projects as soon as possible.
