Video: Armenia is Being Constrained by a 'Peace Treaty' Equivalent to a Death Sentence for Artsakh, Says Deputy Speaker of Artsakh Parliament
With silent consent or under pressure, it does not matter, global and regional actors are constraining Armenia with a "peace treaty" that is equivalent to a death sentence for Artsakh. This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, Gagik Bagunts, during an extraordinary session.
“Artsakh, with a lower status, will become ‘Daghla Karabakh.’ This is the end of Artsakh, the end of Armenia. We appeal to the people of Armenia, the Diaspora, and all Armenians: the time has come for unification to save our homeland,” said Bagunts, adding that many remained in Artsakh in November 2020, armed and ready to die but unwilling to surrender.
“For the sake of our children’s future, for the future of the entire Armenian nation, we are effectively declaring a pan-Armenian consolidation. Anyone for whom the honor and dignity of an Armenian are not empty words, stand with Artsakh and declare yourself a citizen of Artsakh,” Bagunts stated, asserting that if we stand resolutely together once again in defense of our homeland, the world will finally turn its face towards our ancient people.
