Will Trump Participate in the Next U.S. Presidential Elections?

Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he may run for the presidency for a third time, but there has been no official announcement regarding his plans for 2024 yet. An official launch of his campaign is expected no sooner than the end of the year, when the midterm elections for Congress will take place, although current President Joe Biden has already declared his intention to run for a second term.

Trump continues to blame his political opponents for allegedly rigging the 2020 elections and for undermining his victory over Biden. “From the energy crisis to the violent crime crisis, from the disaster in Afghanistan to the disaster in Ukraine, everything we see is a result of these terrible, terrible election outcomes that were rigged,” Trump stated.

The former president admitted that when he sees the horrific scenes from the Ukrainian conflict, he always feels bad at the thought that “all these people who are dying, brutally, horrifically killed, could be alive today if the U.S. elections had ended differently.” Trump reiterated that this would never have happened during his administration.
