VIDEO: Mourning is a Fruitless Act – Anna Hakobyan at Meeting with Families of Fallen Soldiers
The wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, shared a video on her Facebook page from an event that took place on April 7. In her speech, she addressed the mothers, women, sisters, daughters, and grandmothers of heroes fallen in the Artsakh wars.
“Dear mothers, women, sisters, daughters, and, of course, grandmothers, Happy Mother's Day and Beauty Day to all of you. Today we celebrated this holiday in the territory of the governmental summer residence, in our yard, with the mothers, women, daughters, sisters, and grandmothers of our heroes who died in the Artsakh wars,” Hakobyan stated.
“My words in the video are directed not only to them but to all mothers, including those whose sons are still young. You have no right to despair. Our destiny is in your hands. Be intolerant of every slightest deceit, injustice, corruption, inequality, deception, machination, wrongful acts, arrogance, laziness, malice, and all other corrupt phenomena that hinder the strengthening of our nation. Become such, watch over everyone in the name of our fallen boys’ memory,” she added in her post accompanying the video.
