Danish Government Decides to Expel Russian Diplomats
The Danish government has decided to expel 15 Russian diplomats. This was announced on Tuesday by the country’s Foreign Minister Jeppe Kofod, following an extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Policy Council.
According to him, the diplomats, who he claimed were involved in espionage activities, "must leave the country within the next 14 days."
"This is a historic step we are taking. But we are doing this together with many other European countries, as we want to protect our security," said the foreign minister.
