The Probability of War Has Always Been High, What Have You Done? Your Agenda is the Trial of Robert Kocharyan, Says Alen Simonyan to the Opposition

Today, National Assembly President Alen Simonyan stated that Armenia has had security issues since the very first day of its history. “Since September 27, the probability of war has almost remained the same — always high. So, what have you done? What legislative initiatives have you presented?” he asked the opposition.

According to him, the opposition's agenda hinges primarily on the trial of Robert Kocharyan and coinciding discussions regarding Azerbaijan's military actions. “The overwhelming majority of the opposition’s rhetoric coincidentally aligns with the actions of the Azerbaijani army,” he said.

Alen Simonyan noted that the public sees everything and makes accurate assessments. “Therefore, when there is ‘occupation,’ it is necessary to build such relationships with the people and pursue such policies that allow participation in local self-government elections,” the Assembly President mentioned.
