Tom Cruise Invited to Russia to Explore Latest Su-57 Capabilities

The Russian state corporation "Rostec" has invited American actor Tom Cruise to better familiarize himself with the capabilities of the latest Russian Su-57 fighter jet. This was reported today by the press service of "Rostec" to TASS.

TASS notes that in the trailer for the film featuring Tom Cruise, "Top Gun: Maverick," there is a scene where a plane resembling the Russian Su-57 is shown, with an American pilot pursuing it during aerial combat.

"The Su-57 is a powerful and advanced machine. It impresses and inspires not only military professionals but also, as we can see, filmmakers. We invite Tom Cruise to MAKS-2023 to get a closer look at the Su-57 and personally witness the impressive piloting performed by this aircraft, as showcased by Russian air force," commented the press service of "Rostec."

The Su-57 is a fifth-generation Russian multi-role fighter designed for the destruction of all types of aerial, ground, and surface targets.
