Hungary Accuses Ukraine of Attempting to Influence Elections
The Hungarian Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, has accused the Ukrainian government of attempting to influence the outcomes of parliamentary elections scheduled to take place in Hungary on April 3, according to TASS.
The head of the country's Foreign Ministry noted that the Ukrainian authorities had discussed the matter with representatives of the Hungarian political opposition.
“A few days ago, it became known that the Ukrainian Foreign Minister consulted with the Ukrainian ambassador in Budapest regarding the possibility of influencing the results of the elections in Hungary. The information published in the press corresponds to reality,” he stated.
