Kiev's Side Constantly Changes Its Position: Lavrov on Negotiations
Russia and Ukraine's negotiations aimed at halting military operations are progressing slowly. This was stated by Sergey Lavrov, head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, according to TASS news agency.
"Kiev's side constantly changes its position. This, of course, is conditioned by the influence of the West, specifically the United States. Washington has the objective of keeping Russia in military operations for as long as possible and supplying weapons to Ukraine," he said.
Lavrov also added that Moscow does not oppose the participation of other Western countries in negotiations aimed at resolving the crisis surrounding Ukraine.
"However, we have clearly defined red lines," the Russian Foreign Minister stated.
