Russian Defense Ministry Reports Casualties of Soldiers in Ukraine
The Russian Ministry of Defense has released the numbers of military casualties during the special operation in Ukraine, as reported by Radio Sputnik.
“To date, 1,351 servicemen have been killed, and 3,825 have been wounded,” the statement reads.
It is noteworthy that on the early morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukrainian territory, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing Ukraine’s “Nazi regime.”
