Photos: Consequences of Gunfire Directed at Communities in Askeran Region

The Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Artsakh has published photographs and reported: “Law enforcement agencies continue to uncover the consequences of gunfire directed at the communities of the Askeran region in recent days.”

“As previously reported, in recent days, gunfire has been directed from various caliber firearms by the Azerbaijani armed forces toward the communities of Kharamort, Parukh, and Khnapat in the Askeran region along different sections of the Artsakh-Azerbaijan contact line. The law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Artsakh continue the process of documenting and securing evidence of criminal acts directed against the Armenian population of Artsakh.”

“During the evidence collection, another incident was recorded in the Parukh community of the Askeran region, where a shell fired from a 60 mm mortar exploded in the yard of a building belonging to the community, causing property damage.”
