Moscow Will Coldly Respond to Sanctions – Russian Foreign Ministry
“Russia should not respond to sanctions in a mirror-like fashion for every specific case; Moscow will display coldness in developing counter measures against the United States,” stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We should not lose our heads; we need to demonstrate coldness in formulating counter sanctions. In my opinion, we should not act reflectively in every specific case,” said Ryabkov during an interview on Russian ‘Channel One’.
Lists of Russian sanctions against the United States are prepared and will be published soon. “Russia is a modern, strong state, confident in its capabilities, realizing its potential as an inseparable part of a multipolar world. We will work purposefully, energetically, and focused on avoiding any negative impact from U.S. sanctions. And we have the means to do so,” he added.
