UN Secretary-General Meets with Ukraine's Foreign Minister to Discuss Civilian Evacuations
UN Secretary-General António Guterres has met with Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to discuss the humanitarian situation in the country and efforts to evacuate civilians, including foreigners. This was stated in a press release issued by the Secretary-General's office on Saturday.
“The Secretary-General had a conversation today with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. The Secretary-General affirmed the UN's commitment to commencing humanitarian operations both within Ukraine and beyond its borders,” the statement read.
“The conditions for the safe evacuation of civilians, including foreigners from the conflict zone, have also been discussed,” the document highlighted.
