Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Have a Phone Conversation
The foreign ministers of Russia and Turkey, Sergey Lavrov and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, had a phone conversation on Saturday, as reported by a source from the Turkish Foreign Ministry to TASS.
“Our minister and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a phone conversation today,” the source said, without specifying details of their discussion.
Prior to this, according to the source, Çavuşoğlu also held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba, where they discussed the latest events in Ukraine.
Earlier, Çavuşoğlu had stated that Ankara wishes to organize a meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine in Antalya as part of a diplomatic forum scheduled for March 11-13.
